Our Customers, their aircraft…
Denis Loeber, flying salesman

Denis Loeber is one of our customers. A private pilot based at the Haguenau airfield (LFSH), at 53 he holds a PPL, a ULM licence, over 1,200 flying hours (in 12 years) and is President of the Amicale Hubert Wirth, an association of amateur aircraft builders. He has flown DR-400s, PA-28s, and the twin-engine DA-42 holds no secrets for him, having purchased one in 2013 for use on business trips. At the time, he was the head of a home appliances company, and used his plane to travel all over Europe, saving him a considerable amount of time.

However, while the aerial route is faster than the road, it’s also more expensive. So Denis quickly began studying the market to find a machine that would perform as well as his DA-42, yet be more economical.

When he visited us in Pontarlier in 2018, he was delighted to see that we had adapted the Rotax 915 to the MCR-4S, and designed a new flap control system. The only drawback was that, at the time, these MCRs couldn’t be fitted with FADECs – a slight shortcoming for Denis. Some time later, after receiving a phone call from Eric Fumey informing him that this option was now available, his reaction was immediate: “I knew straight away that the MCR-4S would be the next plane I’d buy,” he recalls..

After ordering, the aircraft he receives in early 2024 is a genuine MCR-4S Evolution. Registered F-PDNI, it is powered by a Rotax 915 which drives an MTV-34 propeller, and is equipped with an airframe parachute with straps hidden in the fuselage. On board, it’s the total package! Garmin G3X, ventilated and adjustable iPad slot, 3-axis autopilot, new center console, AIR Avionics radio-transponder combo, Air Traffic AT-1 and… FADEC, of course.

In terms of ergonomics, we’re on the premium side with our new carbon seats (Denis chose a grey leather and blue denim finish with orange stitching), armrests with storage compartments, USB ports and cargo door.

Finally, in terms of styling, the aircraft is white with an anthracite belly, orange piping runs along the sides up to the fin, and the wingtips and elevator are the same color. The icing on the cake is Denis’s idea of “ false anthracite windows ” painted downstream of the cockpit, giving the aircraft an even sharper, more racy look. In short, a superb paint scheme!

With this MCR-4S Evolution, its owner travels all over Europe (with a slight preference for Corsica) but, above all, he uses it for his work, as he did with his DA-42.
But for some time now, Denis Loeber has no longer been selling home appliances. No, now he sells… airplanes. To this end, he has founded the “ACR Aviation” company, with which he sells several machines, including MCR Evolution, of course. As a result, his MCR-4S (whose orange colors are in harmony with the ACR Aviation logo) has become a demonstration aircraft.

And when one of his customers sees him land this gleaming, ultra-modern MCR-4S Evolution, the reaction is immediate: they want to have a test flight. His aircraft is so successful that he makes up to 5 demo flights a month. As a result, Denis has become our “flying salesman”!

We wish you great flights… and, above all, successful sales of MCR Evolution, Mr Loeber!

When Denis talks about his MCR 4S EVOLUTION …

With its MTOW of 820 kg and its performance/ fuel efficiency ratio, it’s the perfect aircraft for me, with a payload of 420KG, making it a fast, modern four-seater (150KIAS). Despite its all-carbon construction, it’s super-stable, very smooth, homogeneous and safe. I had it flown by an airline pilot who told me: “It’s one of the few planes I can’t find a defect in”. I love my MCR-4S so much that I’d be ready to buy a second one if SE Aviation Aircraft would adapt the 160 hp Rotax 916 engine.
About SE Aviation Aircraft, Eric Fumey’s perception makes all the difference, because he’s a passionate businessman who listens to his customers. And that’s really important!

WHAT IS NEW AT SE AVIATION AIRCRAFT?

No vacation for SE Aviation Aircraft

Like every summer, we at SE Aviation Aircraft are not taking any time off, because more and more of you are going on vacation with your MCRs. During the summer months, it’s essential that your aircraft are in perfect condition, and that we’re available to listen to your needs.

So if you have any worries, or even just the slightest question, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or send us an email. We wouldn’t want you to be late to the office in September, when some of us will finally be able to take a few days off. 😀

On that note, we wish you all a wonderful summer vacation!
